“It’s easy to come up with big
ideas. Just think of something that
everyone agrees would be ‘wonderful’ if
it were only ‘possible’ – and then set
out to make it possible.” – Armand
Hammer
Agreed. It is easy to come up with big
ideas.
Having the resolve and resources to make
them happen is another thing.
Too often those big ideas get lost in
the shuffle. We’re juggling so many
responsibilities, our best intentions
get pushed aside and never come to
fruition.
Which is why, if you’re really serious
about making 2011 the year you FINISH
your goals instead of just talk about
them – you’ll invest in yourself and
apply to our Mentoring-Mastermind Group.
Our group provides a unique blend of
one-on-one coaching from me, group
interaction, and input from guest
experts on the specifics of scaling your
visibility and profitability.
Note: Several people contacted us to say
they'd like to apply – and don’t have
the funds right now.
One offered a perfect solution. She
said, “Sam, could you have two prices?
One for people who can afford to have 2
private coaching calls with you each
month – and another for people on a
budget who can only afford one?”
Good idea. So, if you’re a little tight
on money right now, you can still
participate in all the mastermind
activities – yet pay a lower fee and opt
for 1 (instead of 2) private consults
each month.
If you want to make 2011 your most
successful year ever, contact us at
Cheri@Samhorn.com to
request the REVISED Mentoring-Mastermind
info (complete with details about the
end-of-the-year, in-person, two day
retreat), and submit the application
BY Friday, Feb. 4th.

“Your
resources are far greater than you
imagine. Never ask, ‘Can I do this?’ Ask
instead, ‘How can I do this?” – Dan
Zadra
My favorite TV program is CBS Sunday
Morning.
Why? It showcases what’s right in the
world. You can always count on it to
feature fascinating people who share
their back-story of how they’ve created a
life where they’re doing something they
love that matters.
Pianist Simone Dinnerstein, featured in
their Jan. 23rd show
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/01/23/sunday/main7274692.shtml?tag=cbsnewsTwoColUpperPromoArea,
is a shining example.
She studied at Julliard . . . but her
once promising career fizzled. As she
says, “I was washed up at age 30,
playing at prisons and retirement
homes.”
She may have been washed up – but she
didn’t give up.
She came up with her own interpretation
of Bach's Goldberg Variations
and decided to bet on herself. She
invested $15,000 to record herself
playing the Variations. Her brilliant,
fresh rendition went viral on the
internet.
Her next bold move was to rent a
rehearsal space at Carnegie Hall and
invite critics to come hear her.
The critics raved. Next thing she knew,
NPR called for an interview. The
resulting buzz catapulted her recording
to #1 on Amazon.com’s music chart. Not
the classical music chart – the
entire bestselling list of top ten
recordings – right there with Bruce
Springsteen.
All this happened because Simone
Dinnerstein went "all in" on her talent.
She didn't wait for SerenDestiny to come
to her; she met it halfway.
She’s living a life of results, not
regrets, because she didn’t let
circumstances define her or defeat her.
How about you? Do you have a talent,
skill or idea you want to contribute to
the world? Have you let circumstances
stop you?
Why not make this the year you bet on
yourself? Why not make this the year you
go all in on your talent? You’ll never
regret doing it . . . you’ll only regret
not doing it.

Notice the change in the above title.
Instead of saying “Is Sam speaking in my
area soon?” - we’ve changed it to “Is
Sam speaking in my country
soon?”
As you can imagine, we have good reasons
for doing this.
Sam will be heading to NYC next week to
coach the 3 winners of British Airways
Face2Face Competition and present her
POP! Your Pitch program to the
other 250 winners.
Then, she'll be jumping on a plane (a
British Airways plane of course) to
London where she'll be prepping
contestants for their scheduled meetings
with investors, strategic partners,
importers/exporters and retailers.
Check out this exciting event -
http://businessconnect.ba.com/
Then, in March, she’ll be speaking in
Russia, the UK, Geneva, Berlin,
Frankfurt and the Netherlands.) Thanks
to EO (http://www.eonetwork.org/Pages/default.aspx)
for asking her to do this and for
coordinating her visits to their
European chapters.
In the next few months, Sam will also be
speaking in Atlanta, Silicon Valley, New
York, Dallas, Houston and Wash DC.
If you’d like to piggy-back an in-person
consultation or a speaking engagement
for your group while she's in your area
(country?) – please contact her business
manager Cheri Grimm at
Cheri@SamHorn.com
We look forward to hearing from you,
learning about your needs and discussing
how we can meet and exceed your
expectations.
